We here at Mad Swirl are honored to present to you featured artist, Ana Vohryzek. Her Impressionistic style impressed us immediately upon reviewing. Her work varies from full-spectrum color splashes to monochromatic sketches, from portraits to abstract landscapes. We just didn't know what to expect next... and that's the way we like it! So without further ado, we invite you to take a look thru the mad artistic eye of Ana, the self-proclaimed Batman of artists (she's an international lawyer by day and a painter by night) and get your impression on.

Ana Vohryzek

A bit about Ana: I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember. One of my first memories is getting in trouble for decorating the entire reachable wall with crayon drawings. I think I was three, and my parents were not equally impressed with my vision. Now, in my better moments, I like to think of myself as the batman of artists: international lawyer by day, painter by night.

I work with oils and a large palate knife, and I like to use bright colors. I spent years focusing on the human figure and portraits, and only recently began experimenting with abstract landscapes.

Is there any other information you'd like? For example, I recently moved to New York from San Francisco...
