Christian Millet is back and once again featured (his third time!) in the Mad Gallery. Although it may be be needless to say we'll say it anyway, his work is quite applauded around these here parts. This returning favorite's style is profound, bold, and just a tad off in it's subtly eerie madness. The newly added set of paintings by Millet have a fresh feel of simplicity at first glance. But take a closer look and his art is far from simple. It requires a keen talent to play with color and shape in the adventurous ways Christian does. And for that, we hope you applaud him with us. - mio

Christian Millet

A bit about Christian: Christian is a Peruvian Mixed Media painter located in North Texas.

Artist Statement: "My artwork is a constant reflection of the past, present and future; (cliché) based on experiences, mixed feelings and generally speaking a portrait of daily mirrors.

I am selfish; I attribute this to my necessity of expressing myself to others and make them part of something that not even myself know. I represent a blurry explosion that repeats itself daily taking new forms and shapes, a colorful style looking some redemption.

I am representational, an expressionist, a firm believer, an occasional dramatic writer, a skeptical, a big symbol of interrogation, I am like yourself a small dot with a mouth and a brush."
