massive predictive future shock
in five years
we will never speak face-to-face ever again
in ten years
my life partner will be an agile and emotionally–supportive humanoid robot sex fiend
in twenty-five years
we will transcend the 'material plane'
and become ethereal electronic fragments
dancing on the inside of a complicated differential engine
in a very long time everything will be ‘okay’

your most intimate sexual fantasies
i type your name and birthdate
into a cutting-edge online search engine

I still can’t work out whether our relationship is ‘normal’ or ‘incredibly fucked’
Five months ago we were both drunk and I tried to kiss you and you ‘pulled away’.
Last night we were both drunk and you tried to kiss me and I ‘pulled away’.
Is this ironic or something similar to ironic but not quite.
If I say that ‘we are like parallel lines’ is that a cliché.
I think that ‘love’ is a massive oversimplification describing a bundle of at least one hundred thousand contradictory emotions fighting for neural supremacy.
‘Love’ and ‘violence’ are very similar and could possibly be the exact same thing but it will take an entire lifetime for me to finish my PhD dissertation on whether this is true or not.
I do not want you to get married to a person who is not me but I also think that if we ever did ‘get together’ the world will implode in an apocalyptic fashion.
The ‘sexual revolution’ did not solve anything apart from making ‘emotionless random sex acts’ more socially acceptable but maybe I am being a little unduly harsh on the 1960s ‘countercultural movement’.
I would like to be able make extremely rational mathematical judgements about you and our relationship and everything in the universe.
