Life On The Other Side

it appears:

shadows above and below

it happens:

when you walk down the street

flash:

the truth of the world
behind this one

this night
flower-quiet

yellow light
glowing bored
over parked cars

whisper-madness

the secret:

dandelion clocks

cutting
through vision
landing right back
into the dream itself.

What Is Bad Enough?

The push
the click
the echo

wounds you can sleep on
the bullets putting the sleep on
forever

and even if I fell in love with
you
I would never pick
you

I would never pick you
because you don't like the rain

it's just water

and you never showed your face in the sun

but now
I feel my heart in my feet
walking so long
with no food

the day I decided to be human again

is when the pen failed me

there is no choice
the only thing left

in the end
it was the silence killed me.

Spring Time Is Stupid

Right when the squirrels start fucking
each other in the park
something changes.

We are animals,
and moon cycles,
weather,
and sunlight

dictate our actions.

we want to believe
that we are FINE
FANTASTIC
BEINGS
but in reality
the pissing
fucking
violent
desire
is just the animals face
in the mirror.
